Twitter and Web 2.0 [HD BizBlog- The Blog: Productivity in Context]

There is a remarkable new meme spreading via Twitter. I suppose that I will have to update my resume and elevator pitch to fit into a 140 character field.

Twitpitch: The Elevator Pitch Hits Twitter - ReadWriteWeb

The Origin
The Twitpitch is the invention of Stowe Boyd, a business strategy and information technology consultant. Boyd had plans to attend the upcoming Web 2.0 Expo, but was having trouble scheduling meetings with startups. To address this problem, on Tuesday he posted on his blog that in order to make things simple for himself, he was posting a schedule of times when he was available for meetings.

He added that he would not accept email-based proposals for these meetings, only Twitpitches.

I would love to hear what Hugh McLeod thinks of this.

UPDATE: here it is folks: #twitpitch- I teach how to use basic tools & simple practices in your work & life, to give you more time to do the things that matter to you!
