Remember Everything with Evernote [Ian's Messy Desk]
I’ve been an Evernote user for a long time. However, over the past few months, I’ve been playing around with web-based notebooks, because of the ability to access them from any Internet connection.
No more! The latest version of Evernote—Windows and Macintosh—now synchronizes with a web version. I can dump information into Evernote on my principle machine and access it anywhere. I can:
- Clip entire webpages into my account.
- Email notes directly into your account.
- Create new notes from scratch, using desktop, web, and mobile versions of Evernote.
Regardless of where or when your notes are created, everything is synchronized, recognized, and available from anywhere.
Every note added to Evernote, goes through recognition and indexing servers, which make it possible to find everything. Notes can be found by searching and filtering for:
- Tags and titles
- Typed text
- Text within images
- Dates
- Attributes (does the note contain a web clip, an image, audio, handwriting, and more)
