Use multi colored post its for productivity [Hack Your Day]

If you’re the type of person who leaves notes, or scribbles to do items on notes, why not buy multi colored post its to cater for your categorizing needs? Take a look on Amazon, or your local office supply store and you will find millions of types to choose from in all the colors of the rainbow.

I suggest having three colors and categorizing by importance. I don’t think any other method works well for notes, since you would need to find space to group them, but with importance you can get away with three. I would use red for immediate, very important, orange for tasks to be completed today, but in no particular order, or for tasks that are not that important. I would use yellow or plain white for ideas, things I would like to get to, but that are not important at all.

Since I only use post its for daily matters, this works for me well. If you use them for longer term management as well, you may want some more colors or a different approach.
