When Your Budget Gets Blasted (Misc) [Tech Rest]
Sometimes life happens and you find yourself in a nearly instant financial crisis.
Although I’m not an accountant or a financial advisor, I’m no stranger to these situations.
So what do you pay first? Next?
Food. You’ve gotta eat and it’s a mistake to pay bills before you buy groceries.
Transportation. If you can’t get to work, things are only going to get worse.
Utilities. If you don’t pay them, they will cut them off.
Secured debt. They will come after the property and you don’t want that.
Unsecured debt. These folks may be the most persistent but in my opinion should be at the bottom of the list.
One thing for sure is that you want to communicate with the people you owe. Sometimes they have solutions you are not aware of. They can’t help you work things out if you don’t talk to them.
And one last thing: pray and ask God for wisdom. He said He would give it to you.
