Practical Advice from the Trenches [HD BizBlog- The Blog: Productivity in Context]

One of the blogs that I read every week is Self Made Chick, about making money online and working from home. Since this is what I do now, I am looking to learn as much as possible before running my household into the ground.

“I needed to make money FAST. All of these businesses we were trying took so much time to develop and even if we had finished them, the time it would have taken to become profitable was way too long for our situation. I know that there are tons of people in this very same situation and I feel for them deeply because I have been there!”

Freelancer e-bookWhen Christine O’Kelly started blogging, people starting asking for help and she has come through. Her posts and columns have great advice and some killer tips for getting on your feet as an independent. And now, an e-book about how you, too, can break free of the cubicle and become a freelancer. “How I Built a Profitable Freelance Business for Under $50” is a treasure-trove. And the $12 cost is part of the $50 investment!

Step-by-Step Instructions

Christine dives right in by explaining exactly what she did, and how you can too. It’s all here, how to define your deliverable, how to research your competition, how to price your products and services, and how to create a web presence. These are real actions that anyone can do, not pie-in-the-sky Tim Ferris stuff.

…this book isn’t only for writers. I believe that anyone with any skill can take what they know and become a profitable freelancer - even if you are not an absolute expert yet. There is a demand for people of all skill levels in today’s market.

How good is this e-book? Well, I learned two things that I should have started doing a year ago! It’s never too late, of course, and you will see the fruit of these labors shortly. In the meantime click this link and read what Christine has to say about this. If you have wanted to give this a shot but didn’t know how, this is your chance.
