MindMeister Adds Three New Widgets for Capturing Ideas [Ian's Messy Desk]

Geistesblitz_igoogleNot too long ago, MindMeister, an on-line mind mapping tool, released a couple of widgets for Mac OS Dashboard and Windows Vista. The widgets allow you to quickly submit your ideas to your default map in MindMeister. The ideas are inserted in a special branch top left of the root and remain there for you to copy to other maps, or move around within the default map

The widgets are actually called Geistesblitzes: (noun, m.) [’gæstes blîts]:
literally translated as mind flash, is a sudden insight or idea, often brilliant and unexpected. Consisting of the German words Geist (as in Zeitgeist) and Blitz (as in Blitzen, that lightning-fast reindeer of Santa Claus), it’s probably best translated into English as brain wave or flash of genius.

Now, for those who aren’t using Macs or Vista, MindMeister has released three new widgets: a Geistesblitz Yahoo! Widget, a Geistesblitz iGoogle Gadget and a Geistesblitz iPhone Gadget.
