Now THIS is worth reading folks [experiments in effectiveness]

I have to take my hat off to Ryan Norbauer for one of the best bits of writing I have EVER read in my life. I am deadly serious when I write EVER. His treatment of the prevalent culture of your-best-is-not-good-enough and why not trying to live up to that perfection is worth a serious look in “Death and Underachievement: A Guide to Happiness in Work” is truly wonderful. Read the comments and you’ll see this has really touched a lot of people, myself included.

A summary would not do this justice, so I urge you to click through and read this in its entirety. Think on it and read it again. This is a hell of a lot better than reading the bumper crop of “Do X in 2008″, “Don’t Do Y in 2008″ and “Top Z Ways To Change Your Life Into Something You Aren’t” posts.
