Nozbe speed-up continues - new server tomorrow! [Getting Things Done Blog - Nozbe]

Nozbe - your favorite getting things done web application is speeding up again!

Yesterday we’ve posted a great update - optimizing Nozbe’s code and making the interface lighter than ever.

Tonight (actually tomorrow morning between 1-2 am) we’ll be moving to a faster server. Getting Things Done with Nozbe will get very fast now!

Some important information about new Nozbe’s server and infrastructure:

  • Nozbe is (and has always been) entirely hosted in the USA (Northern Virginia region) in a top-notch data center administrated by one of the leading hosting companies in the USA (in business since 1995) - with multiple upstream providers for the fastest network connections possible.

  • Nozbe is hosted on an Enterprise-Class Server with Dual Processor Quad Core, RAID Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Storage Arrays and Dual Gigabit Network Interfaces - Network Administrators are constantly monitoring Nozbe’s server.

  • RAID hard disks mean that everything is mirrored on several hard disks to ensure maximum redundancy - so even if one of our hard disks fails - the other hard disks keep on working and Nozbe will still continue to operate and the hard disk will be replaced right away without any interruption of service.

  • Backups are performed daily to a separate backup-server and additionally the database is backed up daily to a special remote location to make sure your data will never get lost.

As you can see - we make sure your data is safe with us - and that Nozbe never fails you when you need to get things done.

We are very excited about the upgrade. Hold on and starting tomorrow you should have even a better and faster Nozbe experience.

Remember - the server move will be performed around 1 a.m. EST and it should take less than 10 minutes to complete so no service interruption should happen.

If you know anyone who can also benefit from Nozbe - send them to Nozbe and even earn a small commission which will pay you your Nozbe subscription!
