Advertising Gets a Hand from Handvertising [Ian's Messy Desk]

Have you ever been to an event where your admission cost allowed you to come and go through the course of the event? They stamp the back of your hand as proof of entry.  wants to use the back of the hand as advertising space.

Let’s say, for example, Coca Cola is sponsoring a local event. Rather than a generic hand stamp, Coca Cola could order a stamp from Handvertising, cutomized with their familiar logo.

Mike Brown, CEO of Handvertising says, “Advertisers are always looking for a new and exciting way to promote their brand. Handvertising USA offers a unique way to do this and everyone benefits”

“We find venues also use the stamps to increase business. For example, venues are offering special prices on drinks if the customer has a particular Handvertising stamp.”

You can see some Photoshopped examples —along with FAQ’s and contact information— at their website http://www.HandvertisingUSA.com.

It’s an interesting approach. I’ve seen lots of kids who like to keep the hand stamp as long as possible, as a status symbol announcing their attendance at an event. This would mean advertisers would have their brand in front of eyes beyond the length of an event/
